This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to identify professional interests and resources, promote awareness of organisational services and their purpose, and develop professional networks within the criminal justice system.

An individual undertaking this role may work autonomously drawing upon support from a range of established resources. The role requires complex task organisation with high level communication and analysis skills.

The skills and knowledge described in this unit must be applied within the legislative, regulatory and policy environment in which they are carried out. Organisational policies and procedures must be consulted and adhered to, particularly those related to interagency liaison.

We provide all of the required content and cover all of the conditions of the unit of competency within our resources. However, to be compliant with the RTO Standards, you are required to contextualise the resources to make them relevant to your RTOs target industry, learners and training and Assessment Strategy.
